While looking at recent news in local searchI found this article from Mike Blumenthal That was very interesting.

Very recently Google has made an update to the Knowledge Graph (the information box that appears at the top of most searches) in regards to local businesses. Business owners now have an easier way to quickly make edits to their company information and hours of operation. As long as you are logged into an email account that is either a manager, or the owner of a Google My Business page you can make edits to your company information right from the search result.

This will be convenient for those who change their hours during different seasons, or notice an error while searching your business. Rather than having to log in to make the changes, they can be done right from a search. For more information about the new additions to the knowledge graph, checkout Mikes post.
