Did your Facebook ad get disapproved because there was too much text in the ad image?

Facebook restricts the amount of text in an ad image to 20%. The purpose for the restriction is to help keep ads relevant and useful. Users have come to expect a specific experience when visiting the site. First and foremost it’s a place to stay connected with friends and family, get news and information, then a place to stay informed about businesses and brands. Facebook fully understands this expectation from their users so it puts restrictions on how much text an image can have.

To help advertisers, Facebook has created a nifty little tool called the grid tool to help advertisers know if they’re in compliance with the restriction. Learn more from Facebook’s advertising help center here.
